  • Best hardwood floor company in Massachusetts without a doubt. Being someone who works for a general contractor, I know a good floor refinishing when I see one. These gentleman turned my scuffed up, 60 year old white ok floors into an absolute masterpiece. From the dents, scratches, stains and gaps...my floors look brand new! I had them stain the floors a nice dark walnut and they even built custom banisters for my staircase. Never mind their amazing work, Jose and his crew are courteous, friendly and get the job done when they say they are going to...and always on time! Very reasonable prices and one of the best decisions I ever made. I will never have to refinish my floors again because they did such fine work.   • Jose and his team at M&W are a rare find. Highly recommended for quality work, attention to detail, and very fair in adjusting to conditions that required added work and completing it as if it were part of the original job. They replaced flooring I had specially milled and when I ran out they supplied an even better match at a more reasonable price. They patched many sections to make it look like the original.
    One word of warning, I would not use Bona HD waterbased finish on a floor with dogs. The research was variable (yes and no), but this is too soft for dog claws and scratched too easily, even with 4 finish coats. THIS WAS NOT M&W's FAULT...BONA HD IS NOT THE RIGHT PRODUCT. In hind sight I'd recommend a commercial oil based finish that takes longer to dry, but will stand up better. That said, all finishes will scratch from dogs, so remember, you do the floors for where they have been, not where they are going. M&W is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.   • M&W Floors were top notch! I wanted to rip out carpets from a bedroom, hallway and stairs in order to refinish the hardwood underneath. M&W did it all and it came out amazing! Turned out there was no hardwood under the bedroom carpet, but Jose discussed my options and we figured out the best solution. His team ended up laying a new hardwood floor in the bedroom. The whole job was still very reasonably priced and the team worked hard to finish quickly so we could get back into our bedroom.
